A two-part canopy made of PVC polyester membrane protects the circular stage area as well as the auditorium sitting on steps on the slope from the weather. The stage area is covered by a roof that is fixed all year round. The auditorium, on the other hand, is covered by a membrane that can be gathered together under a glass roof at the main arch. The main arch is stabilized against the slope by a set of tensioned steel cables, which also serve as supporting cables for the convertible roof. The spectator roof can be closed by hand with the help of cable winches with only a few helpers.
