For the extension of the arena in Kaltenberg Castle, where among other things the traditional knights' tournament is held, a roofing was designed that is to be realised in several construction phases over the next few years. The supporting structure made of wood and membrane was developed in accordance with medieval construction principles in order to fit into the design guideline of the ensemble without contradiction. The modular construction of self-contained units allows the facility to be expanded in sections in several construction phases.
