A foldable and mobile grandstand module for 62 spectators was designed for the city of Meiningen, which can be protected from rain and sunshine by a convertible membrane roofing. The grandstand with transport dimensions of LxWxH of 6.0 x 2.0 x 2.5m will be used on the sports field and for the renowned theatre festival in the city. The grandstand is designed as a light three-part frame structure made of welded steel hollow sections, which can be extended like drawers to form a six-stage grandstand. The membrane roof is manually stretched by one person within a few minutes by means of telescopic beams. The individual elements can also be added to larger units to increase capacity.

The telescopic roof construction is also suitable for retrofitting existing grandstand systems.
