Between 2017 and 2021, AR Ingenieure provided consulting services to support a joint research project involving several universities and industrial partners on the topic of convertible roof structures with textile roof cladding. To this end, several workshops and conferences were held in Korea and Germany during the project period. Together with the partners from science, architecture and engineering, the testbed located in Seoul was developed, which was completed by mid-2021 and demonstrated the results of the project in practical application. In the course of the final phase, AR Ingenieure supported the project with further services, e.g. with a numerical folding simulation of the membrane and planning.
